Hello I Tex knitted fabric Production process

Hello I Tex TM knitted fabric Production process

We are so glad to introduce you how we produce 4-way high stretch fabric in details. Hope it brings you a basic concept.

1. Before production

1) Original sample analysis: Judge raw material, yarn count, composition, structure, density, loop length, gauge, etc.;

2) Judge machine size: Judge the model of the circular knitting machine based on the above analysis, and draw an structure chart;

3) Raw material preparation: purchase the corresponding raw materials according to Article 1, here you need to pay attention to the grade of raw materials, and notice the number of bobbins according to the model of 2;

4) Machine adjustment: adjust the circular machine according to the structure chart drawn in Article 2.

2. Knitting

1) Circular knitting machine is still unstable when start, so it is necessary to knit 2-3 meters first to check the gray fabric quality,  to see if there are obvious holes, defects, broken threads, etc.;

2) If the gray fabric has no obvious defects, then judge again whether there are defects such as horizontal stripes and vertical stripes, etc. by dyeing the sensitive color;

3) If there is no problem with the above, you can start to arrange the bulk knitting. The 24-hour output of circular knitting machines varies greatly depending on the gauge, yarn count, and weight, etc., usually between 150-250kg, which affects the cost of fabrics.

4) Storage of greige: The greige needs to be properly stored accordingly, especially for fabrics with a relatively high composition of spandex. When knitting, the tension between the inner and the outer is different, which will easily cause wood grain mark on the surface. The wood grain mark will be more obvious after dyeing. Other gray fabrics with thin yarn count and low weight are relatively fragile, so they should be handled with care.

5) Greige inspection: The finished greige needs to be inspected and classified. With the help of the lamp tube, inspection machine picks out the dirty one and the geige with oil which can still used for dark color dyeing. And the clean greige could used for white or light color dyeing.

3. Dyeing and finishing.

1) Determine the dyeing steps: Determine the dyeing steps according to the characteristics of the fabric and the customer's requirements, for example, some need to be washed first, some can be pre-treating directly, and some can be directly dyed;

3) According to the plan, firstly we issue a dyeing card, specifying the steps, the general steps are:put roll greige inside the trolly----pre-washing-----pre-treating---seaming-----lab dip---dyeing----middle  inspection----high temperature setting-seaming- washing - low temperature treating ; if fabrics need to be brushed and peached, the process will increase accordingly;

3) Operate according to the steps of the producing card. If there are some problems in the producing, we will solve them accordingly. For example:  color deviation needs to be repaired;  if the color fastness is not good, we need to wash it again, and if the hand feeling is different with requirement, we need adjust it;

4. Finished product inspection

1) Fabric testing: PH value, shrinkage rate, color fastness to washing, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to light, dry grinding/wet grinding and other experimental indicators of the fabric, and get a test report, and then judge whether it meets the requirements of the customer;

2) Fabric inspection: Random inspection or full inspection according to the actual situation, score and grade according to the American Standard four-point system, and issue a test report;

3) According to the actual situation, keep the samples from different lot and small samples from each roll and keep them for more than 6 months;

5. Rolling and labeling packaging

1) Roll-up/ labeling and packaging according to customer requirements;

2)The content of the shipping mark generally includes three types of information: Basic information (lot number, roll number, quantity, net weight, gross weight) , customs requirements (such as origin country, composition), customer requirements (such as style number, garment factory name);

3) Packing: Usually put plastic bags first, then weavon bags.

Then, Hello I TexTM fabrics are finished and waiting for shipment. Knit fabric producing is a complex procedure. There are too many standards need to be follow, and some are affect each other. We need keep eyes on texture, weight, width, color, fastness, color tolerance, wicking effect, hand touching, flexibility etc. And sometimes texture are contradiction with weight and width; also hand touching is subjective, sometimes it is hard to judgement. There are too many knit fabric manufacturers, but how too choose a matching one is not so easy.
