More and more designers are focus on comfortable wearing, and leggings are the first lesson. Great design creates miracles, and fabric choosing is the very begging thing need to solve.

Hello I TexTM give advises as below:

1) Structure. We recommend interlock instead of single jersey. Before we knit single jersey by 140D/150D yarn for  supermarkets, such as Costco, Walmart, Lidl, Giant Tiger etc. With high output and simple knitting, Single jersey are economic and popular fabrics for leggings for years. With peoples requirement improved to finer, tighter and wrapper,  stretch interlock started to knitting. Now we knit interlock by 40D/50D yarn. Most famous brands use interlocks. Machines also improved from 28Gauge to 32Gauges at least, sometimes 42Gauges even 46Gauges. In same weight, high gauge means thinner yarn and thick density. Thats why interlock is in high content of elastane and great recovery.

2) Composition. We recommend both polyester spandex and nylon spandex. Both are great synthetic fibers. And will satisfying most leggings requirements. Polyester is economic than Nylon, you can choose according to different market. Also kinds of functional yarn are good choice too, such as recycle, biocycle, cooling, heating, wicking etc.

3) Weight. We recommend 220gsm to 240gsm in summer and 240gsm to 280gsm in winter. Below 210gsm might less of support, and over 280gsm might be too thick and high pressure.

4) Physical treating. It includes single peach, double peach, and brush. Peach treating makes fabrics softer and helpful for skin-touch. And brush keep warm. People might choose brushed leggings in winter.

5) Chemical treating. There are a lot of chemicals used for fabrics final treating, Wicking, Breathable, cooling, Heating, Anti-bacterial, Anti-static, etc. You can choose accordingly.

6) Other special treating, such as print, tie-dye,foil, emboss etc.
